With its multiple access options, such as time-sensitive PIN codes, Bluetooth keys, and physical backup keys, all accessible through a secure web interface, users can remotely manage and access the lock using their smartphones from any location. The time-sensitive PIN codes can be generated through a web interface, and they have a limited lifespan, usually between 5 and 60 minutes. This feature ensures that access is granted only to authorized individuals, and once the set time has elapsed, the code is automatically disabled.

In addition, the IoT Deadbolt boasts a unique feature that allows for a seamless transition from a centrally managed lock to one controlled remotely by the tenant. This is made possible through iglooworks, an enterprise-grade smart access solution designed for managing distributed locks at scale. 

On the day of handover, the property manager can transfer control of the lock to the tenant using the tenant experience feature. This empowers the tenant to leverage the powerful igloohome software to manage and control their own locks. In the event of a lockout, the property manager can remotely regain control of the lock using their secure credentials, eliminating the need for an on-site visit or physical intervention.

This innovative solution offers a comprehensive audit trail that monitors access to the lock, recording details such as who accessed it, when, and for how long. This feature promotes accountability and provides forensic analysis capabilities in the event of an incident.
